Fatih is a renowned expert in the field of intellectual property rights (IPR), specializing in patent-oriented research and development (R&D), and technological innovation. He has extensive experience advising both domestic and international clients across various industries, including electronics, electro-mechanics, automotive, software, and defense, on all facets of IPR protection. Fatih’s practice encompasses drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, addressing infringements, and assessing validity issues.

Fatih's technical expertise spans a wide range of fields, particularly electronics, where he has developed a specialization in laser-optic fibers, nanotechnology, advanced microprocessors, control algorithms, fuzzy logic, and neural networks. This diverse technical knowledge, coupled with his deep understanding of intellectual property law, enables him to offer comprehensive guidance on IP protection, commercialization, and technological innovation.

 

Since entering the patent and trademark profession in 2005, Fatih has assumed pivotal roles, including head of the patent department and office manager, at a leading Turkish Patent firm. His technical acumen is not limited to electric-electronics and software inventions but also extends to strategic involvement in the commercialization of technology and management of IP rights.

 

From 2013 to 2015, Fatih served as the General Manager of Uludağ University's Technology Transfer Office, leading significant projects that improved the commercial viability of academic inventions, encouraged industry-academia collaborations, and played a vital role in advancing R&D infrastructure in Bursa.

In his role as a Patent Attorney, Fatih has successfully filed and managed over twelve hundred patent applications across a variety of technical fields. His proficiency as a technology transfer professional has been crucial in facilitating complex

 

Education

​Fatih commenced his academic journey at Fırat University, where he completed his undergraduate studies, followed by a Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from Uludağ University. He further enhanced his expertise with a PhD in Electronics Engineering, specializing in Telecommunications, from Uludağ University in collaboration with an institution in the USA.
