The legal and administrative deadlines were further extended from April 30, 2020 to June 15, 2020 as part of the measures to combat the COVID-19 epidemic and prevent the loss of any rights under the provisions of TR Amending Law No. 7226. The time limits will start to run on June 16, 2020 and will expire in 15 days thereafter.
TURKPATENT announced that any deadlines expiring between March 13, 2020 and March 27, 2020 were extended to June 30, 2020. For any deadlines expiring after March 27, 2020, there exists some calculations to set the date of expiry and it is therefore better to get a professional advice from a Turkish patent or trademark attorney.
